Anatomy of our floor coverings

Since 2023, we have owned a modern sawmill in Ruma (Hrkovci), where the primary processing of wood takes place - from receiving logs and cutting to drying and preparing lamellas. The sawmill ensures a consistent and controlled quality of raw material, which is the basis of any high-quality floor covering.

Top layer – oak

(Debljina: 3–4 mm)

The surface layer is made of premium European oak, chosen for its natural beauty and resilience. Depending on the total thickness of the parquet, this layer can be 3 or 4 mm thick. Provides an authentic look and feel of solid wood, allowing for multiple grinding and restoration cycles over time.

Middle layer – poplar or spruce

(Thickness: 9 mm)

The core of the parquet consists of poplar or spruce boards arranged transversely to the direction of the oak.
This 9 mm layer gives the floor exceptional dimensional stability, minimizing expansion and contraction caused by changes in temperature and humidity. The cross-laminated structure provides strength and balance throughout the board.

Bottom layer – poplar or spruce

(Thickness: 2 mm)

The bottom layer is poplar or spruce, 2 mm thick, designed to equalize the tension and support the upper layers. It improves the overall stability of the parquet and contributes to its smooth setting and long-lasting performance.

A multi-layered innovation in oak flooring

Multi-layer engineered oak parquet represents the ultimate balance between natural aesthetics and advanced engineering. This floor consists of 7 base layers made of eucalyptus and poplar and a top layer of 2 mm thick noble oak (wear layer), resulting in a total board thickness of 13 mm.

Easy installation

Parquet installation systems define how each plank joins into a seamless whole.
Different methods bring different advantages - from quick and easy installation to maximum stability and lasting resistance.

Klik sistem

The click system is most often used for flat boards, but it can also be applied to other types of parquet at the client’s request.

The click system is a modern solution for parquet installation, designed to make the process quick, clean and effortless. Thanks to a special locking mechanism, each board fits perfectly into the next, creating a stable and elegant surface without the need for glue between the boards.

Parquet with the Click system can be installed as a floating floor, directly over the substrate, or it can be glued to the substrate for additional stability. In both cases, there is no need to glue the boards to each other, which makes installation faster, simpler and more efficient.

T&G sistem

Groove and tongue are most often used for herringbone and chevron patterns, where precise alignment and stability are essential to achieve an elegant geometric design.

Each board has a tongue on one side and a groove on the other, allowing them to slide and join seamlessly.

And this system does not require glue between the boards themselves. Parquet can be installed as a floating floor with a suitable underlay or can be glued to the sub-floor for extra stability.

5G click system

The 5G click system is an innovative technology that enables quick and easy installation of floor coverings without glue or special tools. Thanks to a special locking mechanism – the board is lowered into the bed with one movement, while the rubber insert (flexible strip) automatically enters the position and locks the connection. In this way, stability is ensured, spreading is prevented and the long-lasting strength of the floor is achieved.

Rating scale

The photos shown represent typical examples of each class and serve as an illustrative reference. Since wood is a natural material, variations in appearance are expected and part of its authenticity. Final products always take precedence over the examples shown

Select

AB Select represents the highest quality standard in the selection of oak wood.

AB class parquet is characterized by carefully selected oak planks that offer a balanced combination of natural beauty and high quality. This class emphasizes a clean and harmonious look with minimal features of natural wood, which makes it ideal for interiors that require a sophisticated and refined look.

Classic

ABC

ABC Natur quality combines the natural aesthetics of wood with clearly defined quality standards

ABC class parquet combines natural character with controlled elegance. It allows for slight variations in the characteristics of the wood, resulting in a warm yet polished look that suits both modern and classic interiors.

Rustic

CD quality offers a more natural and rustic look of oak, with clearly defined quality limits.

CD-quality parquet highlights the rustic charm of oak, with more visible natural elements such as knots and lines. It is perfect for creating authentic, comfortable spaces where the natural character of wood is celebrated.

Rustic

The DE grade highlights the rustic character of the oak wood, with more natural features allowed.

DE class parquet shows a strong rustic identity, with pronounced natural characteristics that bring individuality and warmth to every interior. This class is ideal for those who appreciate a bold, natural aesthetic.

Rustic

EF class brings the rich character of oak with pronounced natural features, such as knots and color variations, but in a more clearly defined frame.

This parquet provides a strong visual impression of rusticity, while at the same time maintaining harmony and recognizable aesthetics. It is ideal for interiors where the warmth and authenticity of wood is sought, but with a more controlled appearance than the most rustic S/G class.

Rustic

S/G

S/G class represents the most rustic look of oak, with almost unlimited natural characteristics.

This parquet emphasizes raw naturalness and uniqueness, creating interiors with a strong character and authentic atmosphere.

Transitional classes

In practice, some parquet boards can be between the two classes. Such products are marked with combined marks, for example CD+ (slightly higher quality than standard CD class, but not quite ABC) or ABCD (class between ABC and DE). These transitional marks are used when the visual and technical characteristics of the parquet do not fully correspond to one class, representing a balanced mixture of two adjacent classes.
